Events Impacting Global Shipping Timelines

We want to keep you up to date with situations and events that may impact the shipment of your order.


We are doing everything we can to ensure that your order arrives as originally communicated, however recent events beyond our control have impacted projected delivery times for a small number of customer orders. These events are impacting many furniture retailers across New Zealand, and not just Freedom.


Global and domestic supply chain issues


The number of container shipping vessels travelling to New Zealand was unexpectedly reduced in the peak shipping period of the year (October-December) by shipping lines. This reduction has created a bottleneck in shipping deliveries, leading to unavoidable delays for many retailers across New Zealand, including Freedom.


The Impact


Unfortunately, a small number of Freedom orders have been delayed by this. We will be contacting affected customers as soon as we have a full understanding of which orders have been delayed and how long they may be delayed for.


We deeply appreciate your understanding and support. Like you, we’re frustrated and disappointed by these circumstances.
