For their modern and quintessentially Australian backyard, Eliza & Liberty featured Freedom’s best-selling Cannes outdoor lounge range to create the perfect relaxation and entertaining space. For dining, they chose the Havelock bar table in matching white and acacia.
We also spied Christie and Brett styling their table with the Orion dinner set. With a white speckle texture and earthy rim, it’s the perfect complement to any coastal or contemporary look.
With a chance to make changes to a least-loved room, Kyle & Leslie chose to refresh their living room. Taking the chance to expand their room, they swapped their Freedom Noosa modular for the Australian Made Hawkesbury sofa and matching armchair. Continuing Kyle & Leslie’s love of curves, The Block favourite Fira coffee table made a return, this time in heavenly shades of cream of gold.
Eliza & Liberty showed how far they’d come by updating their studio, pairing their Sorento sofa bed with Freedom’s Cobble armchair to prove that every modern living space needs a curvaceous boucle seat.
Freedom faves Kyle & Leslie can do no wrong. This week they served not one, but two incredible bedrooms, gorgeously styled with Freedom homewares and furniture. Boucle continues to prove its value as a timeless and on-trend fabric, adding curves to the curvaceous Cobble occasional armchair and ottoman.
Another highlight? Kristy & Brett’s feature of the Hideout bed in their kids bedroom. The whimsical A-frame is perfect for blanket forts and letting imaginations run wild, while the rich oak timber works beautifully with any palette.
This season has delivered some truly dreamy bathrooms, and this week was no exception. Kyle & Leslie delivered an inspired bathroom layout, styled with a range of homewares from Freedom. They accented their signature soft palette with pops of colour courtesy of Freedom’s luxe Terre bath and hand towels – the second time this popular range has appeared on The Block this season.
Kristy & Brett also featured styling from Freedom, opting for the divinely soft Speckle towel range with 100% Turkish Cotton, along with the Capsule Tumbler & Soap Dispenser for a smoky touch to their vanity.
The kitchen and dining rooms are the heart of entertaining, so we’re always looking forward to what The Block contestants choose to style their spaces. We loved Kristy & Brett’s choice of Freedom’s Cove dining chairs. Timeless and versatile, the soft curves and tones promise both comfort and calm.
The couple chose to style their area with range of on-trend Freedom pieces. They continued their love of retro, fluted glass with a stunning Alturas Vase and Studio Hi-Ball tumblers. Our other favourites? The Codena white marble serving board and the texturally divine Canopy mugs.
In a week of heavenly master bedrooms, Steph & Gian and Kyle & Leslie stood out for their soft and serene designs. Our favourites? Steph & Gian’s choice of the Lune day bed and Kyle & Leslie’s Mia curved bench seat. Both upholstered in gorgeous, on-trend boucle fabric, their gentle curves gave all the calm and contemporary style you could wish for.
We also loved their styling choices. Both couples featured a range of Freedom homewares in their rooms, including vases, foliage, books, candles and pillows to create that instant feeling of home.
This week, the living and dining spaces we’ve all been waiting for. Kyle & Leslie’s pairing of Freedom's ultra-trendy Hallie dining chairs in ash timber with a round table was not only gorgeous but guaranteed to create a hub for conversation and memorable meals. Around the corner, the Australian-made Noosa modular sofa, customised to perfectly fit the space, promised many a late movie night spent in comfort and style. Meanwhile, Leah & Ash added their signature bold colour with the statement Fira coffee table, featuring hand cut, ethically sourced buffalo bone and resin. Steph & Gian cleverly added cosiness to their dining setting with the handwoven Pearce rug in coffee.
Steph & Gian delivered an absolutely swoon-worthy space for their downstairs bathroom last week, sticking to their signature colour palette of neutral tones. Their stunning stone vanity was perfectly styled with Freedom’s Dansk vases in both sizes. Carved from Paulownia wood, the natural finish allows the unique and subtle patterns of the fine grain to feature brilliantly. Paired with a tall floral sprig, the styling added both height and understated luxury to the bathroom. Draped on an innovative rail, Freedom’s Speckle Hand Towels showed how olive can be the perfect colour to give depth to colour scheme that could otherwise appear flat.
A work from home space is an essential in 2023, as this week’s Block reveals demonstrated. Kyle & Leslie created a warm and inviting working space with the creative pairing of Freedom’s Scala bookshelf and leaning desk in gorgeous natural oak. Eliza & Liberty chose a more glam look, adding a touch of luxe with Freedom’s brushed brass Worker desk and tan leather Irving Carver chair. As the curated collection of indulgent Therapy products suggest, this setup can be cleverly repurposed as a dressing table, demonstrating the versatility of their choices.
Guest bedroom week on The Block was a masterclass on designing for small, multifunctional spaces. Round tables were a must for tight spaces, with Eliza & Liberty making Freedom’s much loved Nest dining table their feature piece, while Leah & Ash opted for the moodier Milford. Eliza & Liberty accented their room with Freedom’s Siena nesting side tables. This smart choice allows future guests to expand their living space as needed, while the Sorrento sofa bed will have future guests feeling so comfortable, they’ll never want to leave.
Kristy & Brett delivered a beautiful, spa-like guest bathroom in The Block’s first room reveal of the season. Their subtle pink palette with brass accents delivered layers upon layers of warmth and light, creating depth in an otherwise small room. Freedom’s Terre bath towels drew the eye by providing a stunning burst of colour in on-trend terracotta. The Turkish cotton towel elevates an everyday moment into the luxury with its long, plush fibres and unique pattern, making it a must-have.
