We know that life is full of surprises and understand that sometimes accidents happen, no matter how careful you may be. That's why we offer the Accident Protection Plan.

What is the 5 Year Accident Protection Plan?

The Accident Protection Plan (supplied by Care Cover) covers you against accidental damage and is the first step in protecting and maintaining your new fabric furniture. By correctly looking after your fabric sofa, and by using the approved products contained within this Accident Protection Plan, you can enjoy many years of stress free comfort.

Included with this Accident Protection Plan are high quality cleaning and protection products which have had extensive development and testing. These care products should be used as part of your Accident Protection Plan and will assist the Care Cover technicians in repairing any damage or removing any stains. The products can also help to maintain the quality of the fabric for many years.

What is covered in the Accidental Protection Plan?

The Fabric care products that are part of the Accident Protection Plan are the 250ml Fabric Cleaner, 250ml Fabric Deodoriser and application cloth. The Accident Protection Plan must be purchased in conjunction with the purchase of your new fabric sofa from Freedom, or prior to the delivery of your new sofa.

The furniture must be cared for using these products for the term of the Accident Protection Plan (5 years) in accordance with the care instructions. The use of any other fabric care products on the furniture other than those as part of the Accident Protection Plan will immediately invalidate this Accident Protection Plan.

The Accident Protection Plan only applies on the condition that the new fabric furniture is delivered in a clean and undamaged state. This Fabric Care System (comprising the Accident Protection Plan and care products) will help protect your fabric furniture against accidental stains.

Accidental stains include (and not limited to):

  • Drinks and food
  • Ballpoint pen and crayon
  • Nail polish and lipstick
  • Blood
  • Acids, bleach and corrosive marks
  • Cosmetics
  • Waxes, glues and paint
  • Chewing gum

Accidental damage including (and not limited to):

  • Rips
  • Scratches
  • Broken top stretching
  • Burns
  • Pet damage (one incident only)

What is not covered?

Anything that is not accidental stains or damage is not covered by the Accident Protection Plan This includes (and is not limited to):

  • Manufacturing faults
  • Consumer guarantee
  • Warranty claims
  • Consumer guarantee claims
  • Intentional damage
  • Acts of God
  • Normal wear and tear
