A beautifully laid table is a welcoming and elegant sight for every guest but doesn’t need to be formal or indoors! Up the entertaining stakes by setting a striking table outdoors, lit by candles or string lighting for extra magic.

Beautiful glassware can create a forest of sparkling surfaces across the table, especially when grouped correctly. Each setting should have a water glass, preferably stackable for easy clearing. Add to this a wine glass and a tray of shot glasses in case the festivities really take off! Look out for our matching range of glassware or mix and match for a more eclectic feel.

Plates and bowls can be stacked on top of each other for that restaurant look. You don’t need to keep everything matching here either. Patterned or solid colour plates look fabulous with a muted bowl on top.

Platters are very handy when entertaining outdoors. You can use them to pass around snacks, pile up rolls or display cheese and fruit. Large oval platters are ideal for the job - look out for melamine which provides a smooth finish, is durable and is easy to clean.
