Mango wood timber
Mango wood is sourced from mango orchards that have reached their full maturity and have stopped producing fruit. Without fruit the trees are of no benefit to the mango farmers so they are cut down to make room for new trees and made into furniture and other wood products. The dense grain and rustic characteristics of the timber is perfect for our brittany range.
Trees 4 Trees
Trees-4-TreesTM distributes tree seedlings of high value species to local farmers free of charge. The program provides practical education and advice on how the farmers can maximise their returns from active management of their tree seedlings.
Trees-4-TreesTM is a non-profit foundation, funded by a portion of the revenue from every piece of furniture made and sold within the Trees-4-TreesTM program. These contributions support the development of community forests and education programs aimed at improving the lives of local people in the communities where Trees-4-TreesTM furniture manufacturing companies source their timber.
